Stunning yellow diamonds: Commemorating International Colour Day!
It's International Colour Day so I thought it's the perfect opportunity to post these beautiful colourful wedding photos of Ranjit and Michael's wedding alongside their stunning yellow diamond wedding rings I designed and made for them. Such an intense cheery burst of colour!
Ranjit's ring is set with a 1.72ct, Natural Fancy Intense Yellow, Pear shape diamond. Absolutely stunning! The smaller pavé set white diamonds add that extra sparkle. Michael's ring is set with a round natural intense yellow diamond. Both rings are made in 18ct yellow gold.
So as you can see diamonds come in more that just the white colour! Some colours are created through heat treatment, as natural coloured diamonds are rare and therefore of higher value. The more intense the colour, the rarer and higher the price. The most intense coloured diamonds are described as ‘Intense Fancy’. Most common natural colours are Pink, Yellow, Green and Browns. Red and blue are incredibly rare. You can read more about diamonds on the Diamonds and Gems page.
If you'd like to explore having a ring made with a stunning coloured diamond, then get in touch, I'd love to chat to you about the options and possibilities!
Congratulations Ranjit and Michael on your wedding!
