Remodelling
Transforming the jewellery you love
We believe that jewellery deserves better than to lie forgotten at the bottom of a jewellery box. Pieces that you no longer wear. Or inherited jewellery that isn’t quite your style (but has lots of sentimental value and memories). Why not breathe new life into it by remodelling it into a new piece? You can retain its sentimental value but it can be crafted into something new. Magically reincarnated into something you will love and wear. And something that you can be passed down to generations to come.
A story retained. A new one created.
Take a look at some of the remodelling work we’ve done, transforming old pieces of jewellery into something new.
Alison Hood
Wedding ring
Alison came to me with her wedding ring which had broken into two pieces. She wanted a complete re-design as she also didn't like the gaps in the ring because soap and hand cream would get trapped in there. We joined the three section and added another 18ct yellow gold ring to make a practical and clean contemporary design. An 18ct yellow gold inner sleeve was also added for that extra detail and to bring the whole design together.

Katryn Mercer
Wedding ring
After making Katryn's stunning Platinum and Sapphire engagement ring, she came to us to make the wedding ring to fit alongside it. She also wanted to incorporate her late mothers 18ct yellow gold jewellery. However a yellow gold wedding ring next to her platinum engagement ring wouldn't have looked right, or have been practical as gold is softer than platinum, so we lined the inside of her wedding ring with the gold. This is actually a very personal touch because her mothers jewellery is close to her all the time, and only Katryn and those close to her know it's there.

Quentin Bargate
Wedding ring
Quentin wanted to incorporate his late mothers engagement ring into his wedding ring. We decided to keep the general look of the original design, but bring it up-to-date with a contemporary clean style and combine the yellow gold with platinum.

Eileen Tuohy
Cocktail ring
Eileen had a jewellery box full of jewellery that she didn't wear, but it all held memories from birthdays gone before and also a ring from her late mother. Eileen wanted a ring that celebrated all these things, so we combined all the stones, pearl and more diamonds and made this stunning platinum cocktail ring. After

Karen Philips
Bracelet
Karen inherited her Great Aunts platinum and diamond engagement ring with a 1ct centre diamond and baguette diamonds either side. The style of the ring was a bit old fashioned for her and she didn't really wear rings. So we made a simple 18ct white gold bracelet and inlaid the platinum and set the diamonds in 18ct yellow gold. The whole design is simple and clean and is very much focused on the composition and positioning of the diamonds. Before

Jacqueline Sharples
Stacking rings
Jacquline inherited her mums ring but wanted a new ring designed that was more her style. So we melted down the gold and made these three stack rings set with the three diamonds. This gives Jacqueline the versatility of wearing them all together, individually or with other rings.

Stephanie Jones
30th birthday ring
Stephanie lost her dad at a young age and her mum commissioned me to make a ring with her engagement ring for Stephanie's 30th birthday. We melted down the yellow gold and inlayed it into this Palladium ring and off set the diamond to make this very unique ring which focuses on proportion and balance.

Jess and Matt
Engagement ring
Jess had inherited a ring from her grandmother, and she wanted to incorporate the diamond into her engagement ring. We reset the diamond in a simple 18ct white gold design and enhanced the diamond by framing it with an engraved diamond pattern, replicating the pattern on the shoulders of her grandmothers ring.

Leila Coulter
30th birthday bracelet
Leila lost her father, Philip, when she was five. To commemorate Leila's 30th birthday her mother asked me to make a bracelet and incorporate her 18ct yellow gold wedding ring from her marriage to Philip. The result was a very simple sliver bracelet, with the 18ct yellow gold inlayed to give a detailed focal point which was enhanced with pave set rubies - Leila's birthstone. After

Jo and Claire
Wedding rings
Claire wanted to incorporate her mothers engagement ring in to her's and Jo's wedding rings. Claire wasn't keen on the idea of a sparkling diamond ring, but it was important to her that the diamond was incorporated. So we set it inside the ring and made it a hidden detail that only Jo and Claire knew about. We also added detail with the yellow gold by melting it down and inlaying it into the white gold bands. Before

Margaret Whitaker
Stacking dress rings
Margaret had a collection of rings that held huge sentimental value from three generations of her family. Because of the various shapes and colours of the stones we decide to make six new rings which gives more flexibility and means Margaret can wear them all together in different combinations, or just wear a few at a time. However she chooses to wear them, they are truly special rings which always remind her of her late husband, mother and grandmother, who are always with her. After

Tom Derstoff
Engagement ring
Tom inherited two 18ct yellow gold rings. He came to me to make an engagement ring which utilised these rings. Not only was the final design reminiscent of the shape of the original rings, but we also melted down the gold and secured it inside the ring, with one of the diamonds set in place.. The final design was quite a sculptural and very unique engagement ring. Before
