Designers united: a collaboration with an east London fashion label
I’m delighted to be working with Marcel Robin - an east London fashion designer whose work is influenced by city life, through urban ‘mode de vie’, and through art and music. We’ve collaborated on a silver collection for his label MARR London.

Initial research, thoughts, experiments and ideas
I was inspired to explore the idea of unconventional beauty and the beauty of the imperfect. How silver can be bruised. How it can be distressed and altered through a process of reticulation and texturing (Surface melting. Hammered. Melted again).
How pushing a material to its limits can expose beautiful imperfections. Textures and distortions. Perceived weaknesses that, when contrasted with a polished surface, add further character. And challenge the perception of what is beautiful.
